Archer’s Summer 1L Program is an eight-week experience designed for law students who have just completed their first year of law school. As a Summer Law Clerk, you will work alongside Archer attorneys on active matters and gain hands-on exposure to the day-to-day practice of law in a collegial, collaborative environment.
Summer Law Clerks are based in Archer’s Voorhees and Hackensack offices and work with attorneys across the firm’s diverse practice areas. From day one, you will contribute to meaningful internal and client-facing projects through substantive legal assignments that provide a true sample of life at Archer.
The program includes one-on-one mentoring, targeted training, and structured professional development. Summer Law Clerks also have opportunities to observe litigation and client work firsthand through court appearances, client meetings, mediations, and depositions, along with social events and networking activities that help build lasting relationships across the firm.

Litigation Paralegal

This is a full-time, five-day, in-office position for a skilled paralegal who thrives in a fast-paced litigation environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality work as part of a collaborative, team-oriented practice group.
At Archer, our litigation paralegals are integral members of the legal team. Working closely with attorneys across the full lifecycle of a case, from initial discovery through trial, our paralegals bring organization, initiative, and sound judgment to some of the firm's most complex and high-stakes matters.
The successful candidate will bring substantial litigation paralegal experience, strong familiarity with eDiscovery platforms and workflows, and the ability to manage competing priorities with professionalism and precision in a dynamic, client-focused environment.
Responsibilities:
- Organize and maintain pleadings, discovery materials, deposition files, exhibits, and trial
binders, ensuring all case documents are complete, accurate, and readily accessible. - Manage case calendars and deadlines, coordinating across attorneys and staff to ensure timely completion of all filings and deliverables.
- Assist attorneys with drafting discovery responses, preparing court filings, coordinating service, and managing deposition logistics.
- Work with attorneys to gather responsive information, track productions, communicate with clients and document custodians, and maintain defensible documentation throughout the discovery process.
- Collaborate with litigation technology staff to support data intake, review organization, and production workflows, including privilege review, redactions, and electronic privilege logs.
- Prepare hearing and trial materials, manage exhibit lists, coordinate witnesses, and provide on-site support to attorneys during proceedings.
- Handle electronic filings in New Jersey and New York court systems.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of litigation paralegal experience, preferably with a mid-size or larger law firm.
- Bachelor's degree and/or Paralegal Certificate required.
- Proficiency in eDiscovery platforms such as Relativity, Nuix Ringtail, or Everlaw, with working knowledge of eDiscovery workflows for collection, review, production, privilege review, and redactions.
- Proficiency in iManage and Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Experience with electronic filing in New Jersey and New York.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with attorneys, staff, and clients.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Sound independent judgment, initiative, and the ability to prioritize and manage a demanding workload effectively.
- Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Salary and Benefits:

Salary and Benefits:
Archer & Greiner P.C. offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package. The salary range for this position is $48,000 – $56,000, commensurate with experience.
