Commercial Litigation Mid-Level Associate - New York, NY / Hackensack, NJ

Archer is seeking a mid-level Litigation Associate to join its Business Litigation Practice Group in either its New York City or Hackensack, New Jersey office. Qualified candidates should have 5–7 years of experience handling complex commercial litigation matters in New York state and federal courts. Admission to the New York Bar is required; New Jersey Bar admission and experience is preferred. Judicial clerkship experience is desired.

Candidates should have experience in all phases of litigation, including depositions, court appearances, discovery strategy, and motion practice. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with attorneys across offices and practice areas in a collegial and collaborative environment.

Our litigation team represents a diverse client base ranging from closely held businesses to Fortune 500 companies. Associates in this role will work with clients across a broad range of industries, including religious and educational institutions and nonprofit organizations.

We are seeking a self-motivated attorney capable of managing significant responsibility while working both independently and collaboratively. The successful candidate will have strong academic credentials and excellent analytical, research, writing, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $155,000 – $185,000, commensurate with experience
