Stephen M. Packman, a Partner with the law firm of Archer, P.C., will be featured as a speaker at an international symposium next week in Austria.
Packman, who specializes in business bankruptcy law, will speak about revisions made in 2005 to the U.S. Bankruptcy Code and their effect on Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings in the United States. The conference, Insolvency and Corporate Finance, runs Feb. 3-9 in Kitzbühel, Austria.
The conference is presented by the Center for International Legal Studies (CILS), a non-profit research, training, and law publications institute with its international headquarters in Salzburg, Austria. The Center’s purpose is to promote dissemination of information to the international legal community through research and publication projects, post-graduate and professional training programs, and academic seminars, professional symposia and continuing legal education conferences.
Packman, a Partner in the Haddonfield office of the law firm of Archer, is Chair of the firm’s Debtor and Creditors Rights group. He represents debtors in Chapter 11, creditors, creditor and equity committees, trustees and all types of litigants in bankruptcy and other commercial litigation.
