Archer partner and Hiring Committee chair Sarah A. Gribbin was recently quoted in the New Jersey Law Journal article, “Pay Climbs Steadily, Hiring Levels Return to Pre-COVID Form at Law Firm Summer Associate Programs.” The article recognizes a national trend of growth among law firm’s summer associate programs. It discusses how hiring has fully returned to pre-pandemic levels, along with in-person elements and average compensation on their upward trajectory.
Sarah acknowledges Archer’s efforts to return to pre-pandemic status, stating the program, “has been conducted primarily in-person, with remote working days available each week… Archer attorneys have enjoyed getting to see and interact with the Summer Associates in the office several times a week. We have been encouraging the Summer Associates to visit as many Archer offices as they want to throughout the summer. Our Summer Associates have enthusiastically welcomed these in-person opportunities.” She went on to say the program, “includes a number of in-person training sessions, observation opportunities and practice group presentations, with remote participation optional for each event… We also have hosted several in-person social events with several more scheduled.”
