Archer attorneys attended the Philadelphia Diversity Law Group (PDLG) 2018 Summer Reception on Wednesday, June 20. Hosted by Independence Blue Cross, attendees welcomed the new 2018 Fellows and honored PDLG Fellows past and present and all those whose involvement with PDLG and the Fellows Program has made its work possible. Attendees from Archer included Associate Jorge Garcia, Summer Associates Nikia Clark and Isabel Naveira, Partner Carlos M. Bollar, and Partner and PDLG Board Member Debra S. Rosen.
The PDLG Fellows Program (formerly known as the PDLG Summer 1L Program) offers diverse first year law students a route to summer employment at member law firms and legal departments. It also provides the PDLG Fellows with a series of seminars and programs designed to enhance their skills and increase their knowledge of the Philadelphia legal community.
Archer has participated for nearly a decade in the Philadelphia Diversity Law Group (PDLG) First-Year Summer Program. Through this program, the firm annually hires at least one law student from the PDLG’s list of diverse candidates, all first-year law students who have overcome obstacles in pursuing a legal career, come from disadvantaged backgrounds, or from backgrounds that are underrepresented in the Philadelphia area legal community.
