William P. Isele to Join Hospice Organization Board of Trustees

Attorney William P. Isele has been named to the Board of Trustees of the New Jersey Hospice and Palliative Care Organization (NJHPCO), a nonprofit public service association that promotes the use of hospice and palliative care at the end of life.

Mr. Isele, Of Counsel to Archer, P.C., in the firm’s Princeton office, begins a three-year term in January 2011 with the organization, a leading advocate for better end-of-life care for New Jerseyans. NJHPCO works to raise public awareness of end-of-life issues, offers continuing education for care providers, provides legislative advocacy, and serves as a resource and expert for referral sources for potential hospice patients.

Mr. Isele counsels and represents a wide range of health care entities, from individual practitioners to hospitals, long-term care facilities and hospice providers, as well as to individuals and families faced with the challenge of planning for long-term care and competent, compassionate end-of-life care. He served from 1999 to 2007 as New Jersey’s Ombudsman for the Institutionalized Elderly, leading the state government office that investigates allegations of abuse and neglect of people 60 and older living in nursing homes and other long-term health care facilities.

Archer, P.C., is a full-service law firm with more than 175 lawyers serving Fortune 100 clients, small to medium-sized businesses and individuals for more than 80 years.
