William P. Isele Receives State Bar’s Distinguished Legislative Service Award

William P. Isele, Of Counsel to the law firm of Archer, P.C., was awarded the Annual Distinguished Legislative Service Award by the New Jersey State Bar Association (NJSBA) during the Association’s Board of Trustees Meeting and Holiday Luncheon on Dec. 11, 2009, at the New Jersey Law Center in New Brunswick.

Isele, a Milltown resident based in Archer’s Princeton office, was recognized for his efforts regarding several bills affecting the elderly and disabled during the current legislative session. Through his testimony and dedication, legislators received valuable insight in crafting these important legislative measures.

Isele has been active in NJBSA since 1982. He served as Chair of the Association’s Health and Hospital Law Section from 1989 to 1991 and currently serves as Legislative Liaison for the Health & Hospital Law Section and Co-Legislative Chair for the Elder & Disability Law Section. Isele also serves as a Trustee of the Middlesex County Bar Association.

Isele received his law degree from Georgetown University Law Center . His practice focuses on health care and elder law matters. From 1999 to 2007, he served as the State of New Jersey’s Ombudsman for the Institutionalized Elderly.
