Archer is pleased to announce that partners Charlie J. Dennen, Melissa Osorio Dibble, and Nicole Gerritsen McDonough have been named to the New Jersey Law Journal’s “New Leaders of the Bar” list of top young attorneys in New Jersey. The list recognizes attorneys under 40 with notable achievements and outstanding potential. Nominees were judged on their development of the law; advocacy and community contributions; service to the bar; and peer and public recognition. This year’s honorees will be recognized during the New Jersey Legal Award’s Professional Excellence Gala on September 29th at the Booklake Country Club in Florham Park.

Charlie Dennen focuses his practice on all areas of toxic tort and environmental law. Charlie represents clients in complex environmental matters, as well as civil and administrative litigation, and has advised clients on issues under CERCLA, RCRA, the New Jersey Spill Act, and other federal and state environmental statutes and regulations. Charlie has gained the respect of the judges and opposing counsel in his matters. He has been involved in many hearings and participated in trials, including those involving substantial amounts in controversy.  In his legal practice, Charlie sees the whole picture. He cares about others, about the client, about the reputation of the firm, about business development, and about anything else central to the firm’s success. Charlie is involved and known in the legal community and gives back to the local community. For the last two years, Charlie has been named by Best Lawyers as “One to Watch.” He has written many articles on environmental law for various organizations and publications. He is a member of the Rutgers Law Alumni Association Board, including several years as Chair of its Young Lawyers Division, and serves on the Board of Trustees of the South Jersey Young Professionals Association and the Planning Committee for the Special Olympics of New Jersey’s Garden State Unified Golf Classic.

Melissa Osorio Dibble concentrates her practice in the area of estate and trust litigation. Melissa has handled all varieties of probate, general equity, and Orphans’ Court matters, including, but not limited to accountings, will contests, breach of fiduciary duty actions, trust modifications, and matters involving the Uniform Prudent Management of Institutional Funds Act and the Slayer Statute.
