Thomas A. Muccifori, of Moorestown, N.J., continues his longstanding service to the General Equity Section of the Burlington County Bar Association (BCBA) and has once again been re-appointed as Co-Chair of the committee for the 2014-2015 year.
An attorney with Archer P.C. in Haddonfield since 1986 and a shareholder of the firm since 1993, Mr. Muccifori has played an active leadership role in the BCBA General Equity Section for the past decade. His leadership activities have included organizing and serving as moderator for numerous continuing legal education seminars involving expert panels whose members have included presiding Superior Court judges. General equity cases typically involve litigation of trade secrets, restrictive covenants, real estate, and other commercial disputes in which judicial relief, often in the form of a temporary or preliminary injunction, is sought on an emergent basis.
The founder and Chair of Archer’s Trade Secret Protection and Non-Compete Practice Group, Mr. Muccifori aggressively litigates business and employment disputes of all types both in Federal Court and the Chancery and Law Divisions in state court. He has gained nationwide experience in drafting, negotiating, counseling and litigating on behalf of employers, employees and others in the trade secret and restrictive covenant context.
A graduate of Rutgers College, magna cum laude, where he was a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society, and of Rutgers University School of Law, cum laude, Mr. Muccifori is active in numerous Bar, civic and professional organizations including the Moorestown Business Association, the Burlington County Bar Foundation and the Rutgers President’s Council. Mr. Muccifori was recently named a Top Attorney by SJ Magazine in the area of commercial law, the seventh consecutive year the magazine has recognized him as a regional leader in his field.
