Steven Mignogna Reappointed to the American Bar Association Section of Real Property, Trust, and Estate Law

Steven Mignogna, Co-Chair of Archer’s Estates and Trusts Department and Chair of the firm’s Estate and Trust Litigation Group, has recently been reappointed to the American Bar Association Section of Real Property, Trust and Estate Law. The Real Property Division focuses on legal aspects of property use, ownership, development, transfer, regulation, financing, taxation and disposal. The Trust and Estate Division focuses on all aspects of trusts, estate planning, employee benefits, insurance, and probate and trust litigation.

As of September 1, 2022, Steven will take on the leadership role as an Advisor in the Groups and Substantive Committees. This will stay in effect through the 2023 bar year. Steve is known for being active within the American Bar Association, having held numerous leadership roles in the Section of Real Property, Trust and Estate Law. Previous titles held include: Chair of the Litigation, Ethics and Malpractice Group, as well as Chair of the Group’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee and Probate and Fiduciary Litigation Committee; Section Liaison to the ABA Dispute Resolution Advisory Committee; and several administrative Committees in the Section.

Steve specializes in commercial litigation, including litigation involving probate matters, estates, trusts, gifts, fiduciaries, guardianships, and real estate, handling cases in the state and federal courts, at both the trial and appellate levels.
