Stephanie Zane Elected President of the Thomas S. Forkin Family Law American Inn of Court

Archer Partner Stephanie J. Zane was elected President of the Thomas S. Forkin Family Law American Inn of Court. Stephanie, who is a Master member and has been an Executive Committee member for more than ten years, will serve a two-year term.

Founded in 1996 in Camden County, NJ, the mission of the Inn is to foster excellence in professionalism, ethics and legal skills for judges, lawyers and law students. The Inn’s specialized focus is on family law and matrimonial litigation. Program topics include not only the review of substantive areas of law, but practical tips and "how to" lessons through audience participation and round-table discussions. Membership in the Inn includes attorneys and Family Part Judges located throughout South Jersey counties.

Stephanie remains one of the foremost practitioners of family law in the state of New Jersey and was recently appointed the new Chair of Archer’s Matrimonial and Family Law Practice Group. Stephanie brings 20 years of experience in matrimonial law and family law matters to this position. She focuses her practice on complex matrimonial litigation and represents clients in all aspects of divorce, custody, child support and related issues, and domestic violence litigation.

In addition to her role with the Thomas S. Forkin Family Law American Inn of Court, Stephanie continues to serve as a Trustee on the National Board of Trustees of the American Inns of Court, having previously served as National Treasurer and Chair of the Program Awards Committee. Stephanie is the first person from New Jersey to ever serve in these roles. The American Inns of Court has earned both national and international prestige as an organization that links formal law school education and legal practice by presenting continuing education in the Common Law tradition.

Stephanie has also served four 3-year terms as a member of the State of New Jersey Committee on Character, appointed by the Supreme Court of New Jersey. In addition to her practice and legal community-based appointments, Stephanie is involved in multiple community-based organizations. She has served as the Chairperson of the Cooper Hospital Patient and Family Advisory Committee, and continues to serve on the Board of the Cherry Hill Association of Pools, as president of the Fox Hollow Swim Cub and on the Parent Committee at South Jersey Aquatic Center.
