Jeffrey M. Gradone, a Partner with Archer P.C. in Princeton, N.J., will be on the faculty for Advanced Issues in Real Estate Law,a continuing legal education seminar on Thursday, April 10, 2014, in Atlantic City. The program is presented by the National Business Institute (NBI), a leading provider of continuing legal education and training.
This one-day seminar will cover a range of topics, including the property tax appeal process; understanding the coverage title insurance provides – both for on-record and off-record risks; preventing title defects from slowing transactions: exploring the available methods for clearing liens and curing title problems; assessing potential environmental liability and advising clients of their options and obligations; staying up to date on the latest changes affecting foreclosure procedures and loss mitigation solutions; unraveling complicated priority issues that can arise during foreclosure; and confidently handling post-foreclosure issues involving property preservation and problematic evictions.
Mr. Gradone concentrates his practice in the areas of local property taxation and eminent domain proceedings. A former clerk for Judge Harold A. Kuskin of the New Jersey Tax Court, Mr. Gradone prosecutes complex property tax appeals in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and other Mid-Atlantic and New England states. He advises clients regarding property tax issues and liabilities, and pursues property tax exemptions, abatements, and other incentives for real estate development projects. Mr. Gradone also handles a variety of complex condemnation matters on behalf of property owners and lenders.
