Reginald Streater Elected Corresponding Secretary for Barristers’ Association of Philadelphia

Archer attorney Reginald L. Streater was recently elected Corresponding Secretary for the Barristers’ Association of Philadelphia. An affiliate of the National Bar Association, the Barristers’ Association of Philadelphia helps address the professional needs and development of Black lawyers in the City of Philadelphia and surrounding areas through programs such as seminars, cultural events and publications.

Among the Association’s goals is to use the members’ skills and training to educate the community and assist those who cannot afford to pay for services. Recognizing the importance of future generations, the Association aims to be a tangible resource, both visible and accessible, to students interested in the legal profession.

Reginald focuses his practice on commercial and complex litigation. His clients range from individuals and small businesses, to large corporations and public entities. Reginald handles a variety of litigation matters, including contract disputes, usury claims, federal claims, federal civil rights claims, insurance matters, labor and employment claims, fraud claims, and tort claims in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York, where he has federal trial experience sitting second seat.

Reginald is an Executive Committee Member of the Temple Law Alumni Association. He also serves as a Member of the Board of Directors of the Greater Philadelphia Chapter of the ACLU of Pennsylvania.  Reginald is a Fellow and Alumnus of the Philadelphia Diversity Law Group and a Keeper and Connector Fellow and Alumnus of LEADERSHIP Philadelphia.
