Peter L. Frattarelli Joins Habitat for Humanity Board of Directors

Peter L. Frattarelli, a Partner with Archer in Haddonfield, N.J., has been appointed to the Board of Directors of Habitat for Humanity Burlington County, a nonprofit organization working to provide decent, affordable housing to families. Mr. Frattarelli plans to use his experience in labor and employment law to provide assistance and guidance to the organization.

Habitat for Humanity Burlington County is a local affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, a nonprofit housing organization which works in partnership with people in need to build and renovate decent, affordable housing. The houses are then sold to those in need at no profit and with no interest charged. Volunteers provide most of the labor, and individual and corporate donors provide money and materials to build Habitat houses. Partner families themselves invest hundreds of hours of labor – “sweat equity” – into building their homes and the homes of others. Their mortgage payments go into a revolving Fund for Humanity that is used to build more houses.

The Burlington County organization has built dozens of houses for families who qualify for a Habitat home based on need, ability to pay the mortgage and willingness to partner with the organization.

Mr. Frattarelli is Chairman of the Labor and Employment Law Department of Archer P.C., one of the region’s largest law firms. His 20 years of experience includes advising and representing clients in a variety of industries and settings, including government agencies, on labor and employment matters including labor unions and collective bargaining.
