Melissa Osorio Dibble Appointed Co-Chair of ABA Committee

Archer Partner, Melissa Osorio Dibble, a partner in the firm’s Estate and Trust Litigation Group, was appointed Co-Chair of the Probate & Fiduciary Litigation Committee of the Litigation, Ethics and Malpractice Group of the American Bar Association’s Real Property, Trust and Estate Law Section. Her new term will begin September 1.

The Section of Real Property, Trust and Estate Law, which includes around 22,000 members, is a leader in providing subject matter expertise on current regulatory and legal issues, trends and best practices. The Trust and Estate Division includes all aspects of trusts, estate planning, employee benefits, insurance, and probate and trust litigation.

Melissa handles all varieties of probate, general equity, and Orphans’ Court matters, including will contests, breach of fiduciary duty actions, trust modifications, and matters involving the Uniform Prudent Management of Institutional Funds Act and the Slayer Statute. She has represented a variety of institutions and individuals, including banks, universities, executors, trustees, beneficiaries of estates and trusts, and intestate heirs. Ms. Dibble regularly speaks on recent developments in estate and trust litigation and has published articles on the doctrine of writings intended as wills and the Uniform Trust Code.
