Lloyd Freeman, Archer Partner and Chief Diversity Officer, was recently featured in the New Jersey Law Journal article, “NJSBA Commission on Racial Equity in the Law Confronts Racism in Justice System, Legal Profession,” published August 20, 2020. In this article, Mr. Freeman discusses his participation in the New Jersey State Bar Association’s (NJSBA) Commission on Racial Equity in the Law which is creating strategies to break down the barriers of systemic bias and discrimination in the New Jersey justice system and the legal profession.
As Chief Diversity Officer, Mr. Freeman carries out Archer’s vision to grow diversity and inclusion in the firm and in the legal profession. He spearheads the firm’s diversity committee and is a member of Archer’s hiring, personnel and business development committees. Mr. Freeman concentrates his practice in the area of commercial and complex civil litigation in state and federal courts in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania. He has represented clients in trials, arbitration, and mediation in both states and has developed expertise in e-discovery.
