Attorney Jeffrey M. Scott, a Partner with Archer P.C. in Philadelphia, has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the Bucks County (Pa.) Foodshed Alliance (BCFA).
The nonprofit BCFA is a coalition of farmers, landowners, restaurateurs, educators, environmentalists and consumers working together to foster and expand a comprehensive, local, sustainable food supply in Bucks County, Pa. The BCFA’s mission includes connecting producers and consumers with food that is grown locally without hormones, antibiotics, pesticides, herbicides or fertilizers that rely on fossil fuels. The BCFA continues to expand and develop partnerships with organizations devoted to promoting a sustainable food supply.
Mr. Scott concentrates his practice in the areas of complex federal and state court litigation and trials involving civil rights, labor and employment, professional practices representation, insurance defense, law enforcement issues, defamation and personal injury.
