Archer partner, Jeffrey M. Gradone, received a Legislative Award from the New Jersey State Bar Association (NJSBA) in recognition of the significant contributions and extraordinary commitment he has made on behalf of the NJSBA’s advocacy work and legislative goals.
The award is the highest recognition available to a NJSBA member. The NJSBA Board of Trustees Awards honor the many members who advance the Association’s interests through the courts, state Legislature, or their leadership in the legal community.
Jeff is Co-Chair of the NJSBA Property Tax Committee and past Chair of the NJSBA Tax Law Section. He is also a member of the Board of Trustees for D&R Greenway Land Trust. In addition, Jeff is a former member of the New Jersey Supreme Court Committee on the Tax Court, a past Trustee of the Mercer County Bar Association, and past Co-Chair of the Legislative Committee of the National Association of Office & Industrial Properties (NJ-NAIOP).
Jeff concentrates his practice in the areas of local property tax, redevelopment and condemnation. Jeff litigates complex property tax appeals in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania. He advises clients regarding property tax issues and liabilities, and pursues property tax exemptions, abatements, and other incentives for real estate development projects. Jeff also handles a variety of complex condemnation matters on behalf of property owners, and has significant experience negotiating and obtaining tax exemptions and abatements for developers under New Jersey’s Long-Term Tax Exemption Law and Five-Year Exemption and Abatement Law.
