Intellectual property attorney Joseph A. Martin of Haddonfield has been named one of New Jersey’s top business leaders under age 40 by NJBIZ, the statewide business publication.
Co-Chair of the Intellectual Property Practice Group at Archer, P.C., in Haddonfield, Martin was selected for the “Forty Under 40” honor by NJBIZ’s independent panel of business executives based on professional excellence and dedication to community. Martin and the other honorees are profiled in a supplement to the Sept. 14 edition of NJBIZ.
Martin heads a multidisciplinary practice group providing representation in all facets of intellectual property law. He specializes in intellectual property litigation with a concentration in software and technology-related disputes across a wide range of industry sectors including software development and licensing, health care intellectual property and information technology services. He is also a recognized expert in the emerging field of electronic discovery law – commonly referred to as “e-discovery.”
In addition to his professional activities, Martin serves as President of the Board of Trustees of the Tuckerton Seaport Museum, a nonprofit museum dedicated to preserving the heritage and history of the people who made their living on Jersey shore bays and waterways. He is also a longtime coach for Haddonfield Babe Ruth Baseball, where he led his team to Haddonfield’s first championship in 2007.
