Good Governance and the ABCs of Funding for Non-Profit Organizations

Archer, P.C., along with co-sponsors The Bank and the New Jersey Economic Development Authority, present Good Governance and the ABCs of Funding for Non-Profit Organizations, a seminar for organizers and managers of non-profit entities with 501(c)(3) designation.

The seminar will take place on Thursday, April 24, 2008, on the campus of Rowan University in Glassboro, N.J. It explores how non-profits can maintain corporate formalities including avoiding conflicts of interest, as well as how to obtain necessary funding to maintain and expand services — all while avoiding the mistakes that lead to lost opportunities. Topics include governance, grants, lending and tax-exemption.

Speakers are Robert Ahrens of The Bank, Justin Kenyon of the New Jersey Economic Development Authority, and Archer attorneys Frances McElhill and David Weinstein.
