Attorney Frank D. Allen of Archer P.C. in Haddonfield, N.J., has been appointed Chair of the New Jersey State Committee of the American College of Trial Lawyers, widely regarded as the premier trial professionals’ organization in America.
Founded in 1950, the College is dedicated to maintaining and improving the standards of trial practice, the administration of justice and the ethics of the profession. Membership is limited and by invitation only. As Chair, Mr. Allen leads the New Jersey Committee’s effort to organize and implement statewide activities of the College.
Members of the American College of Trial Lawyers include all nine justices of the U.S. Supreme Court as well as all members of the Supreme Court of Canada. The College engages in a wide variety of activities to further its mission, including law student moot court competitions and essay contests, a series of awards that recognize outstanding accomplishments by legal professionals, and publishing reports, surveys and other publications that address important current issues affecting the administration of justice.
Mr. Allen previously served as Vice Chair of the New Jersey State Committee. The Chair of Archer’s Personal Injury Services Practice Group, Mr. Allen is a Certified Civil Trial Attorney, a New Jersey Supreme Court designation conferred on less than 2% of attorneys statewide based on a rigorous set of standards for experience, education, knowledge and skill in civil trial practice. He has more than 30 years’ trial experience in state and federal courts, including numerous multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements on behalf of clients. He lives in Cherry Hill, N.J.
