Former D.A. Lynne Abraham Serving as Delegate at Democratic Convention

Attorney Lynne M. Abraham of Archer P.C. in Philadelphia is serving as a delegate at the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, N.C., where President Obama will deliver his nomination acceptance speech tonight, Thursday, Sept. 6.

Ms. Abraham, the former longtime Philadelphia District Attorney, is a member of the Pennsylvania Delegation, serving as an Official At-Large Delegate representing Pennsylvania’s 1st Congressional District, encompassing parts of Philadelphia and Delaware County.

This is the sixth time Ms. Abraham has served as a delegate to the Democratic National Convention, having also been a member of the Pennsylvania Delegation in 1992 in New York City, in 1996 in Chicago, in 2000 in Los Angeles, in 2004 in Boston, and in 2008 in Denver.

Ms. Abraham, who won five District Attorney elections and served in the post for nearly 19 years before deciding to enter private practice, focuses her practice on government relations, mediation, litigation and trial strategy and tactics, as well as appellate advocacy.
