Gianfranco A. Pietrafesa and Scott D. Jacobson, Partners in Archer’s office in Hackensack, N.J., will join the Hon. Peter E. Doyne, Assignment Judge for the New Jersey Superior Court in Bergen County, to present the seminar “Ethical Issues in Settlement Negotiations,” on Thursday, May 17, at the Annual Meeting and Convention of the New Jersey State Bar Association (NJSBA) in Atlantic City.

Presented in conjunction with the NJSBA Business Law Section, the session entails a review and discussion of ethical issues and professionalism involved in negotiating settlements and settlement agreements, including issues related to clients, adversaries and the court. Mr. Pietrafesa, Chair of the NJSBA Business Law Section, provides counsel and representation to clients in corporate, business, employment and real estate matters, including litigation. Mr. Jacobson is a business litigator who has represented corporations, partnerships and entrepreneurs in a wide range of commercial disputes.
