The New Jersey End-of-Life Nursing Consortium’s (NJ ELNEC) Third Annual Conference will feature a presentation by William Isele, former New Jersey Ombudsman for the Institutionalized Elderly, who will address “Planning for Transitional Care at the End of Life.”
The conference, sponsored by the Center for Professional Development at Rutgers University’s College of Nursing, is scheduled for March 27 and 28, 2008, at the Sheraton Convention Center Hotel in Atlantic City.
The interdisciplinary symposium promotes end-of-life and palliative care best practices for professionals in a variety of health care settings, including nurses, clergy/chaplains, physicians, social workers, allied health personnel, counselors and pharmacists. Faculty provide up-to-date information, innovative ideas and current research regarding care of the dying client, presenting a holistic view across the life span.
