Rafael A. Llano

Rafael has a diverse commercial and complex civil litigation practice in state and federal courts in New Jersey and New York. A dedicated attorney with extensive hands-on litigation experience, Rafael represents corporate and individual clients in a variety of matters, including contract disputes, breaches of employment agreements and restrictive covenants, consumer fraud claims, and shareholder disputes. Rafael has also represented clients in insurance coverage and construction defect litigation. His previous experience in insurance coverage litigation gives him insight into dealing with insurance carriers and allows him to help business clients understand complex coverage issues.

Rafael enjoys working with clients to understand their needs and help them solve the important problems impacting their lives and businesses. He works to develop a plan to achieve their desired outcome, relays the process in an understandable manner and goes the extra mile to keep his clients informed and advised of their options in a dispute. Prior to joining Archer, Rafael was an associate at a New Jersey law firm where he represented clients in insurance coverage and business litigation. Following law school, Rafael served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Michael C. Gaus, J.S.C., Superior Court of New Jersey, Essex Vicinage.
