Overview
PJ is an experienced litigator who focuses his practice on commercial litigation in state and federal courts throughout the country. He represents companies spanning numerous industries in a wide range of disputes involving breach of contract, fraud, insurance coverage and other insurance-related issues, products liability claims, construction defects, environmental matters, and professional negligence. PJ leverages his experience to bring a focused, practical, and, when necessary, aggressive approach to advancing his clients’ goals, guiding them through all phases of litigation.
Before joining Archer, PJ was a commercial litigation partner at a Philadelphia-based, multinational Am Law 100 firm. There, he gained substantial experience litigating complex fraud schemes and financial misconduct. He led investigations of potential producer misconduct and financial fraud in the life insurance sector, advised clients on implementing fraud prevention and detection protocols, and prosecuted and defended actions involving fraud, breach of contract, declaratory judgment claims, RICO, and other complex commercial disputes.
Following law school, PJ served as a law clerk to the Honorable Heidi W. Currier, J.A.D., of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Appellate Division. During law school, he was a judicial intern to the Honorable Jack M. Sabatino, P.J.A.D., of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Appellate Division, and the Honorable Michael A. Shipp, U.S.D.J., of the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.
