Overview
Gabriela assists clients in all areas of family law, including divorce, child custody, parenting time, alimony and spousal support, child support, relocation, adoption, domestic violence, and cyber harassment.
A skilled and committed advocate, Gabriela understands the high stakes involved in family law matters that affect her clients and their children. She approaches each case with empathy and compassion, ensuring her clients understand the process and feel supported as they make important decisions.
Prior to joining Archer, Gabriela served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Jeanne T. Covert, A.J.S.C., in the Burlington Vicinage, Mt. Holly, NJ. When Judge Covert retired during her clerkship, Gabriela remained in her role and continued working for the Honorable Terrence R. Cook, A.J.S.C., the new Assignment Judge. She also gained broad legal experience through a series of internships and clerkships, including with the Honorable Andrew B. Altenburg, Jr., U.S.B.J., in the District of New Jersey; Capehart Scatchard; Bancroft; Wawa; and the New Jersey Attorney General’s Office, Division of Criminal Justice (Medicaid Fraud Control Unit).
With this diverse foundation, Gabriela brings to her family law practice not only strong research and writing skills, but also a thoughtful, client-centered approach to advocacy. In addition, she is fluent in Spanish.
