Stephen Packman to Discuss Philly Pops Chapter 11 Reorganization at Union League Seminar
Stephen M. Packman, Chair of Archer's Bankruptcy Practice Group, will join other prominent attorneys and judges for “The Orchestra & Pops Cases - An Inside View,” a CLE seminar, on Friday, April 26, 2013, 4:30 p.m. at the Union League in Philadelphia. Mr. Packman will discuss his handling of the Chapter 11 reorganization of the Philly Pops Orchestra last year. Mr. Packman led a group of Archer attorneys who negotiated, drafted and won court approval for the Pops’ reorganization plan, designed to achieve financial stability so the one-of-a-kind orchestra can continue to provide the outstanding musical performances for which it has become famous. The session is part of the Consumer Bankruptcy Assistance Project’s 20th Anniversary Celebration, which also includes a dinner reception and Philly Pops concert. Registration for the event has closed.
