Donald Craig, Longtime Counsel to County Surrogate, Joins Estate & Trust Practice

Donald P. Craig, longtime Counsel to the Surrogate of Camden County, has joined the law firm of Archer P.C., firm President Christopher R. Gibson and Chairman James H. Carll announced.

Mr. Craig will concentrate his practice on estate and trust litigation, including guardianship matters, accountings, and disputes between fiduciaries and beneficiaries.

During his 25 years as Counsel to the Surrogate of Camden County, Mr. Craig reviewed wills for submission to probate in the Camden County Surrogate’s Court. He also reviewed all probate pleadings filed in the Superior Court in Camden County, including the audit of all fiduciary accountings filed during his tenure.

Mr. Craig, of Berlin, N.J., joins Archer as Of Counsel in the firm’s Haddonfield, N.J., office.

Mr. Craig is a frequent lecturer regarding probate and guardianship practice. He has presented lectures to the Camden County Bar Association, the Burlington County Bar Association, the Philadelphia Bar Association, the New Jersey Title Insurance Producers Association and the Guardian’s Association of New Jersey. For 15 years, Mr. Craig presented annual seminars regarding estate litigation to newly admitted attorneys on behalf of the New Jersey Supreme Court’s Institute for Continuing Legal Education.
