Legal Administrative Assistant (Document Production Specialist) - Voorhees, NJ
Archer & Greiner, P.C., (“Archer”), one of the region’s leading full-service law firms, is seeking an experienced Legal Administrative Assistant to join our Document Production Center in our Voorhees, NJ office. This is a full-time, in-office position, Monday through Friday, 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys working with attorneys and legal documents and has strong document-production and Microsoft Office skills. The Document Production Center supports attorneys across all practice groups and plays an important role in preparing polished, accurate, and client- and court-ready legal documents. Team members work with a variety of document-production technologies and collaborate with attorneys and administrative professionals throughout the firm.
Responsibilities:
- Create, revise, format, and proofread legal and business documents using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Format complex documents in accordance with firm standards and attorney specifications.
- Convert documents from PDF to Word and ensure proper formatting and presentation.
- Create and update Tables of Contents and Tables of Authorities.
- Compare and analyze documents using Litera.
- Transcribe digital dictation accurately and efficiently.
- Create, edit, combine, and format PDF documents using Kofax.
- Troubleshoot document formatting and conversion issues.
Qualifications:
- At least one year of experience as an administrative assistant; law firm experience preferred.
- Excellent computer skills and a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Kofax; experience with Litera is preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail and proofreading skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- College degree preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
Archer offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package. The salary range for this position is $42,000 - $46,000, commensurate with experience.
