Chancery Practice Seminar Features Presiding Judges


HADDONFIELD, N.J., Jan. 2, 2008 – Thomas A. Muccifori, Esquire, a partner with the law firm of Archer, P.C., will serve as moderator for “Demystifying Chancery Practice,” a seminar featuring Presiding Chancery Judges from throughout South Jersey. Sponsored by the Burlington County Bar Association’s General Equity Section, the seminar is scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 31, 2008, from 4 to 6:15 p.m. at the Laurel Creek Country Club, Mount Laurel, N.J.

The seminar will feature appearances by the Presiding Chancery Judges from southern New Jersey Superior Court jurisdictions. The judges will discuss their particular General Equity and Probate practices and procedures, including Orders to Show Cause and emergent applications such as TROs and Preliminary Injunctions. The session will also include other tips for demystifying practice in the Chancery Division.

Mr. Muccifori, Chairman of the Burlington County Bar Association’s General Equity section, concentrates his practice on commercial litigation of business disputes of all types, including chancery matters. He is the founder and Co-Chair of Archer’s Employment Competition and Information Protection Group. A former Chairman of the Commercial Litigation Committee of the Camden County Bar Association, Mr. Muccifori also lectures at Rutgers University Law School in Camden.
