Carlos M. Bollar Elected Trustee At-Large of the New Jersey State Bar Association

Archer Partner, Carlos M. Bollar, was recently elected Trustee At-Large of the New Jersey State Bar Association (NJSBA) for a two-year term, effective July 1, 2019. Members of the Board of Trustees are responsible for managing the affairs of the New Jersey State Bar, and spearheading initiatives within the NJSBA. Mr. Bollar is also a member of the Association’s Continuing Legal Education Advisory Committee.

A member of Archer’s Environmental Law Practice Group, Mr. Bollar is a seasoned litigator, representing clients in complex toxic tort, product liability and environmental litigation matters, often involving claims for personal injury, medical monitoring, property damage, and natural resource damages. His experience includes handling environmental litigation cases in all contexts in which they arise, including single plaintiff cases, mass actions involving hundreds of plaintiffs, class actions, and defending clients against state and federal government.

Mr. Bollar currently serves as the Finance Director of the Hispanic National Bar Association, and is Past President of the Hispanic Bar Association of New Jersey. He is a member of the Camden County Bar Association, and a member of the Litigation and Environmental Litigation Sections of the American Bar Association. In recent past years, Mr. Bollar served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Philadelphia Diversity Law Group. He has also been a member of the New Jersey Supreme Court Working Group on Judicial Participation in Fundraisers, and a member of the Supreme Court of New Jersey’s District IV Ethics Committee.
