Kristin Yu

Kristin Yu is an Associate in Archer’s Real Estate Tax Appeal Practice Group, where she specializes in the litigation of complex commercial and industrial property tax appeals. Ms. Yu advises clients on property tax issues, liabilities, and valuation at all stages of prosecution.

Prior to joining Archer, Ms. Yu was an Associate in the Real Property Tax Planning and Appeals Group at a national law firm, where she handled tax appeals for a variety of properties, including office centers, warehouses, retail properties, and apartment complexes. Additionally, Ms. Yu assisted with numerous hospital exemption litigation matters, and helped obtain an exemption for a major New Jersey university.

Ms. Yu graduated from Rutgers Law School, where she was a Dean’s Merit Scholar and Saul A. Wittes Scholar. She was a member of the National Mock Trial Competition Team and Moot Court Board. She also served as Managing Editor of the Women’s Rights Law Reporter, Co-Chair of the Women’s Law Forum, and Teaching Associate for the Legal Analysis, Writing, Research and Skills Program.

Following law school, Ms. Yu was a law clerk for the Honorable Vito L. Bianco, J.T.C., of the Tax Court of New Jersey.
