Jessica L. Perl focuses her practice in the area of Health Care Law. Ms. Perl represents clients from all segments of the health care industry, including hospitals, nursing homes, long-term care facilities, ambulatory surgical centers, medical staffs, physicians, physician groups, and rehabilitation centers, among others, as well as individuals seeking advice and counsel.
Ms. Perl counsels clients on a variety of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations, including New Jersey licensing requirements, as well as Federal Stark laws, the State Codey laws, Federal Anti-Kickback laws, and both State and Federal False Claims laws. She assists clients with licensing needs and representation before professional boards, regulatory agencies and accrediting bodies. She provides counsel related to regulatory issues, corporate compliance, business operations, taxation, labor, and litigation.
Ms. Perl’s prior legal experience includes administrative law, regulatory compliance and corporate litigation, including public contracting, appellate and government litigation. Before joining Archer , Ms. Perl served in the Office of the General Counsel for the New Jersey Hospital Association where she provided legal advice and counseling related to internal business operations, industry-related healthcare matters, and non-profit hospital governance.
