Archer Welcomes Two New Associates

We are pleased to welcome the addition of two new associates to the firm’s Delaware and Philadelphia office’s. Sabrina Espinal and Tatiana Webb were part of Archer’s 2020 Summer Associate Program. Sabrina is a member of Archer’s Bankruptcy, Restructuring, and Insolvency Litigation Group. Tatiana is a member of Archer’s Labor & Employment and Business Litigation Groups.

Sabrina N. Espinal –  Sabrina’s practice includes the representation of debtors, creditor committees, chapter 7 trustees, and other parties in bankruptcy cases, restructurings and other distressed situations.  She also represents clients in general commercial litigation. Her background in economics from the University of Delaware enables her to quickly understand and assess financial situations facing clients and to work through complex issues. Sabrina earned her J.D. from the American University Washington College of Law. There, in addition to her legal education, Sabrina gained valuable work experience. She served as a student attorney for the Entrepreneurship Law Clinic in Washington, D.C., where she provided business counseling services to early stage entrepreneurs. Sabrina also served as a legal intern for the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, where she reviewed tender offers, shareholder proposals, going-private transactions and change of control issues. Sabrina was also a legal intern for the Office of the General Counsel of the Export-Import Bank of the United States, where she researched issues in connection with project finance for U.S. based companies looking to export their goods in overseas markets. Tatiana M. Webb –  Tatiana works with clients on a broad range of employment matters before state and federal courts, including issues regarding retaliation, harassment, discrimination, and failure to accommodate, as well as conducts internal employment investigations. She assists in defending employers in cases involving violations of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), New Jersey Law Against Discrimination (NJLAD), the New Jersey Conscientious Employee Protection Act (CEPA), the New Jersey Wage Payment Law, the New Jersey Wage Theft Act, the New Jersey Family Leave Act (NJFLA), the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act (PHRA), and the Pennsylvania Whistleblower Law. Tatiana also provides clients with day-to-day advice and counsel, including assisting with drafting employer handbooks and human resources policy. In addition, Tatiana participates in union negotiations and grievance arbitrations. Prior to joining Archer, Tatiana was with a corporate investigation and risk consulting firm, where she assisted with internal investigations for corporate clients, as well as worked with colleges and universities on Title IX disputes.
