Archer is pleased to announce that Jawad H. Salah joined the firm’s Voorhees office as a partner in the Real Estate practice group. Jawad has practiced at large law firms in New York and Philadelphia over the course of his career, gaining significant industry knowledge and contacts in both markets, as well as in New Jersey. His deep experience in acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and leasing will be of great benefit to Archer’s clients and the real estate group.
With more than 20 years of experience, Jawad represents clients in real estate matters involving the acquisition, financing, development, disposition, and leasing of commercial, retail and industrial property. He has extensive experience with real estate acquisition in the private equity context. Jawad assists clients in analyzing real estate assets, evaluating property-related risk, and developing strategies for acquiring, redeveloping, financing, selling and leasing real property.
Prior to joining Archer, Jawad was most recently General Counsel for a real estate private equity firm, where he was responsible for all facets of the company’s legal needs, including its transactional work, a position he served in after 13 years at an established Philadelphia law firm.
Jawad is an active member in the area’s business and legal communities, and is a long-standing supporter of several of the region’s music and visual arts nonprofit organizations.
Jawad earned his J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law, and his B.A. from the University of Texas.
