The publishers of Super Lawyers recognize attorneys who have distinguished themselves in their legal practice. Attorneys are chosen for this honor through a statewide nomination process by colleagues, peer review by practice area, and independent research on candidates by Super Lawyers staff. The rigorous process is designed to identify lawyers who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. Only five percent of attorneys in the state of New Jersey are selected for inclusion in Super Lawyers. The selection process for Rising Stars is similar except candidates must be either 40 years old or younger, or in practice for 10 years or less.
