Archer Supports the Philadelphia Bar Foundation’s “Raising the Bar” Campaign

PHILADELPHIA, PA – April 19, 2006 – Today the law firm of Archer, P.C. proudly joins the Philadelphia Bar Association and the Philadelphia Bar Foundation in the “Raising the Bar” campaign.

Through this effort, Archer has made a pledge to provide financial support to local organizations that provide direct legal services in Philadelphia to the poor, the disadvantaged, the disabled, the elderly, and victims of abuse and neglect.

Archer will make a total donation that represents at least $300 for each of the attorneys in the firm’s Philadelphia office, and joins with other law firms for a campaign that has a goal of raising more than $1,000,000 for local legal services organizations.

Each day, the attorneys, paralegals and other staff at Archer work with clients in a wide variety of cases involving a broad range of legal issues. The firm’s attorneys have a strong tradition of legal excellence, hard work, and attention to detail. We know the satisfaction that comes from helping a client to a successful resolution of a complex legal issue.

Every day, there are also thousands of Philadelphians who need legal help, but can’t afford to engage the services of a private attorney. There are dozens of local legal services providers that help in non-criminal matters. Among their clients:

  • an elderly couple who are the victims of a fraudulent home repair and are in danger of losing their home as a result
  • a child who needs help in obtaining the special education classes he or she needs
  • a victim of abuse who needs assistance in working through the justice system

Archer has a longstanding tradition of being active in the Philadelphia community and is happy to support the many organizations that benefit from this program.
