HADDONFIELD, NJ (June 20, 2007) Terence J. Fox, a partner of the law firm of Archer, P.C. represented New Wave AB, a Swedish clothing and accessories company, in its acquisition of Cutter & Buck, Inc., a Seattle-based sportswear designer and distributor.
On June 8, 2007, Cutter & Buck Inc. shareholders voted overwhelmingly in favor of the acquisition by New Wave AB. More than 99 percent of the votes cast, representing more than 77 percent of Cutter & Buck’s outstanding shares, were in favor of the $156.5 million deal, which was approved by federal regulators last month.
Cutter & Buck, which will continue its operations in Seattle, became a subsidiary of New Wave following the shareholder vote. The two companies announced the transaction in April 2007.
