October 18, 2022 – Archer & Greiner, P.C. is pleased to announce it has achieved Mansfield Rule 5.0 Certification from the Diversity Lab. The Mansfield Rule Certification measures whether law firms have affirmatively considered at least 30% women, attorneys of color, LGBTQ+ attorneys, and attorneys with disabilities for top leadership and governance roles, equity partner promotions, formal client pitch opportunities and senior lateral positions. Additionally, Archer has committed to meeting routine check-in, data-collection and reporting milestones to meet the criteria for the rigorous certification process.
The certification process has undeniably provided the firm with a robust framework to advance its diversity efforts. In August 2022, Shelley Smith, Archer Partner and Chief of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, proudly acknowledged Archer’s participation in the certification process, stating, “Archer has a longstanding commitment to ensuring that diversity is a top-of-mind focus as we continue to create a workplace environment that embraces a variety of perspectives and cultures.”
Archer first achieved Mansfield certification in 2020, when the initiative was in its third iteration. Most recently, Archer was one of 180 firms to sign onto the latest Mansfield 6.0 certification process.
Diversity and inclusion are core values at Archer and have never been more important. The firm’s commitment to diversity and inclusion is put into practice through a variety of initiatives, led and supported by employees at all levels.
