Anthony R. La Ratta has been named to the New Jersey Law Journal’s prestigious “40-Under-40” list of promising young professionals in New Jersey’s legal community in the Aug. 9 issue of the statewide legal weekly.
A resident of Washington Township, Gloucester County, Mr. La Ratta is a Partner at Archer, P.C., in Haddonfield, N.J., where his practice focuses on litigation involving probate matters, estates, trusts, guardianships and fiduciaries. A recognized authority on estate and trust litigation in New Jersey, Mr. La Ratta has represented institutions, including major banks, as well as individuals in a variety of contexts. He has extensive experience handling cases involving will contests, undue influence, diminished capacity and accountings of estates and trusts. He is a court-approved mediator for New Jersey probate cases.
Mr. La Ratta lectures frequently for the American Bar Association, the N.J. Institute for Continuing Legal Education, the State Bar Association and other organizations. He is First Vice President of the Estate and Financial Planning Council of Southern New Jersey, for whom he has also published articles on estate and trust litigation. Mr. La Ratta is a supervisor of junior associates at Archer and an instructor in the firm’s litigation-associate training program.
