PHILADELPHIA, PA – January 6, 2006 – Archer, P.C. is pleased to announce the continued expansion of its Philadelphia office with the addition of Allen C. Tucci. Mr. Tucci joins Archer as a Partner in the firm’s corporate department, and will focus his practice on Mergers and Acquisitions, Securities Transactions and Securities Law, Taxation and Multi-State Tax Planning, Intellectual Property and General Corporate Transactions while working out of the firm’s Philadelphia and Wilmington offices.
Mr. Tucci has built upon the experience he developed over the years to create a specialized practice in advanced corporate transactions, taxation and banking. His insight into corporate goals and responsive services to client needs is recognized by his many corporate clients, which include numerous large, multi-national corporations as well as emerging, growth-oriented businesses. Mr. Tucci enjoys a solid reputation in the business community. He has been quoted in Fortune with respect to Enron’s use of Special Purpose Entities. Reporters from prominent business publications, including the Wall Street Journal and Dow Jones, have also sought his counsel to explain the complex structuring of Special Purpose Entities and their legitimate and reasonable uses.
Mr. Tucci graduated from Villanova University School of Law (J.D., cum laude, 1990) and Dickinson College (B.A., cum laude, 1987). In addition, he was awarded an Andrew Mutch Scholarship to study and teach on advanced managerial economics at the University of Aberdeen in Scotland. He is a member of the Business and Taxation Sections of the American Bar Association, the Banking, Taxation and Corporate Law Sections of the Philadelphia Bar Association, and is an Associate Member of the Delaware Bar Association.
