Renee J. Simeone is a member of the firm’s Commercial Litigation Group and Intellectual Property Group. Ms. Simeone focuses her practice on handling commercial, intellectual property and technology disputes and litigation. She is involved in representing clients in a wide range of matters including those involving intellectual property (including assisting clients in protecting and enforcing their intellectual property assets such as trade secrets, copyrights and trademarks along with defending against claims of infringement), breach of contract, restrictive covenants/non-competition agreements, computers and technology, unfair competition, defamation and trade libel issues, as well as cases involving partner and shareholder disputes.

Ms. Simeone has represented individuals as well as large and small commercial entities. Ms. Simeone has extensive experience handling matters in both the federal and state courts of New Jersey. She has developed particular expertise on issues relating to electronic discovery.

While in law school, Ms. Simeone was an Articles Editor for the Rutgers Law Journal, in which she published a case note in the Journal’s annual State Constitution Law issue. She also participated in the Hunter Moot Court competition reaching the quarterfinals and was recognized with a Top Ten Brief award. Ms. Simeone was a judicial extern for the Honorable Joseph H. Rodriguez, Senior District Judge, United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.

Ms. Simeone is currently a member of the American Bar Association, New Jersey State Bar Association, Pennsylvania Bar Association, Camden County Bar Association and Burlington County Bar Association.
