Biography:

Ms. D’Amora focuses her practice on construction and development litigation. She advises clients regarding delay claims, termination disputes, payment disputes, and surety issues. She also has experience handling bankruptcy issues and insurance claims.

In addition, Ms. D’Amora handles a wide range of complex commercial litigation matters including corporate governance disputes, intellectual property litigation, and civil rights defense.

Representative Matters:

  • Successfully obtained a defense verdict on behalf of a state development agency in a wrongful termination claim related to a proposed development on the Camden Waterfront.
  • Successfully obtained a defense jury verdict on behalf of a shareholder of a closely held corporation in a dispute regarding the sale of a landfill.
  • Obtained a favorable seven figure recovery on behalf of a surety on a construction performance bond in an action against a Pennsylvania public school district. 
  • Represented a federal defense contractor related to an intellectual property dispute with its subcontractor in connection with the development of an underwater sonar device.
  • Represented general contractor in litigation concerning the construction of Lincoln Financial Field.
  • Represented a charitable foundation in resolving a dispute with a filmmaker regarding a commissioned work.
