Lawrence M. Farnese, Jr., focuses his practice in litigating complex commercial litigation and represents clients in matters involving copyright/trademark infringement, protection of corporate trade secrets, breach of fiduciary duty disputes and construction related litigation. He has tried cases in the federal and state courts of Pennsylvania and during his career has litigated matters in many states throughout the country, including Alabama, Georgia, Massachusetts, New York and Florida.

Farnese serves on the executive boards of assisted living facility Casa Farnese, The University of Pennsylvania’s Young Friends of the International House and Academy House Condominium. He is on the advisory board of the Rebecca Davis Dance Company, and he is a member of NOW, NARAL, Liberty City Democratic Club and Liberty PA.

Larry was elected to the Pennsylvania Senate in 2008 for the 1st District. He has been selected to serve as Democratic Chair of the Senate Veterans Affairs and Emergency Preparedness Committee. He will also serve on the Senate committees on Appropriations, Banking and Insurance, Communications and Technology, Education, and Labor and Industry.
