Biography:

JOHN P. QUIRKE is the Managing Partner of Archer & Greiner’s Flemington office and a member of the Labor and Employment Law Department. His practice is dedicated to the counseling and representation of companies, executives, and management in employment and labor law, and related corporate matters.

John represents and counsels clients in all types of employment matters, including negotiations, grievance and arbitration proceedings, and hearings before state and federal agencies which oversee the workplace. He practices before federal and state courts throughout the United States with respect to matters such as employment discrimination, wrongful discharge, restrictive covenant, wage and hour, and other employment-related litigation. John counsels management on union issues, including organization drives, strikes, negotiations, and hearings before the NLRB. He also conducts training for management and employees regarding the prevention of workplace harassment and discrimination. John has received training sponsored by the Alliance for Education in Dispute Resolution and the Cornell University/PERC Institute on Conflict Resolution as a mediator in employment disputes.

John lectures and writes extensively on employment law. He has lectured on behalf of organizations such as the American Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Institute, the ADP Institute for Educational Excellence, the American Payroll Association and the Society for Human Resource Management. In conjunction with ADP, he is the lecturer in a series of web-based seminars on employment law. John’s articles on employment law have been published in various publications including, the Human Resource Professional and the New Jersey Law Journal. He has worked with the Lance Armstrong Foundation as a Peer Reviewer for articles pertaining to employment law.

John lives in East Amwell, New Jersey with his wife, Diane, and their two children.
