| Biography: | In his estate law practice, John handles estate administration and planning. He has special expertise in laws concering the elderly. Elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1984, John has been Chairman of the House Urban Affairs Committee and a leader in addressing the challenges that face his native city of Philadelphia. He has been particularly active in efforts to reduce violence in schools and blight in urban areas. He was a member of the bipartisan "Gang of Five" that developed an innovative package of anti-crime measures. He is a member of several House panels and committees charged with a variety of local, state and national issues. |
