| Biography: | An Associate in the Haddonfield office, Ms. Kirby concentrates her practice in the representation of management in all aspects of Labor and Employment Law. Areas of litigation include, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the New Jersey Law Against Discrimination, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, and the New Jersey Family Leave Act. Ms. Kirby also assists in the counseling of employers in all aspects of labor and employment law, including wage and hour, wrongful discharge, review of employer personnel policies and handbooks, employment-at-will, and discrimination law matters. Ms. Kirby also practices traditional labor law where she defends employers against unfair labor practice charges, advises them with respect to collective bargaining agreements, represents their interests during labor arbitrations, and directs them through picketing and strike activity as well as union organizational campaigns. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Kirby was a legal intern to the Honorable Robert B. Kugler, U.S.D.J., District Court of New Jersey, Summer 2004. |
